For the fifteenth year, the attractive exhibition of the “Friends of the Sea” project is touring the squares and waterfronts of the Croatian Adriatic. During the summer of 2025, a large number of visitors will see the exhibition at ten destinations in Istria and the Northern Adriatic. <\/p>\n
In 2009, the Livingstone association from Rijeka and the Astoria company designed the national cultural-tourism campaign “Friends of the Sea”. The goal is to draw the attention of the Croatian public and all visitors to the role of photography in media culture and the social responsibility and ongoing value of promoting the ecology and preservation of the Adriatic Sea with large-format outdoor photo exhibitions every year during the summer months. <\/p>\n
The exhibition from the series “Friends of the Sea” in 2025 in 30 large formats examines fishing and life at sea and presents visuals as seen by photographers looking for their authentic shots in the optical play of light. The aim of this exhibition is to show domestic and foreign visitors an enviable media culture through photography, which shows life in a specific way through the rhythm of light and shadow. The photographic excellence of the selected authors is reflected in their understanding of artistic aesthetics. The works were selected by the expert team of the “Rovinj Photodays” festival, and are exhibited by: Petar Trinajsti\u0107, Ivo Pervan, Ivan Kosi\u0107, Mario Romuli\u0107 and Dra\u017een Stoj\u010di\u0107 In cooperation with the tourist boards, Friends of the Sea will be hosted by: Pula, Rovinj, Mali Lo\u0161inj, Krk, Njivice, Omi\u0161alj , Ba\u0161ka, Punat, \u0160ilo and Malinska. <\/p>\n
