ON introduce:
During three seasons, the play was performed 100 times. Most of the performances were held in Zagreb, and only a small number were on away tours. This text has been played on many world stages, and along with French and Dutch, the Croatian production is one of the most successful! Roman Šušković-Stipanović very sincerely performs the unusual form of documentary theater with a lot of energy and passion. “Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus” is primarily aimed at entertaining the audience, and teaching is only a necessary consequence. The play helped many couples to look each other in the eye and comment on their relationship at least in the spirit of the play – jokingly, and there were also those who took some advice seriously and changed their behavior towards their partner for the better. We have to admit, there were several interruptions after the show, and one stormy one during the show.
