“Friends of the Sea: Black and White 60s”
The exhibition from the series “Friends of the Sea” during the summer of 2014 presents 62 large format artistic photographs created in the 60s of the last century with the theme of life in the Croatian Adriatic. The works were selected by the expert team of the “Rovinj-Photodays” festival and were collected from the funds of national museums and private collections: MUO Zagreb, National Museum Zadar, Tošo Dabac Archive, Photo Club Split, Photo Club Rijeka, private collections: Seferović, Orel, Vučemilović. The aim of this exhibition is to show domestic and foreign visitors the enviable culture of Croatian photography in the 60s. Presented by authors: Abdulah Seferović, Alojz Orel, Ante Brkan, Ante Gašparini, Boris Pajkurić, Duško Kečkemet, Ivan Filipin, Ivan Giovanelli, Ivo Kontuš, Fernando Soprano, Josip Benković, Maks Peč, Nikola Vučemilović, Petar Jović, Ratko Novak, Tošo Dabac , Vanda Broz, Vicko Zaninović, Zdenko Sila and Zlata Laura Mizner.
